Scope and content:

Contains record copies of legislation approved by the Faculty Senate (1966-69) and the University Senate (1969-present). Each year's legislation is preceded by a summary list of the legislation for that year. The listing indicates whether the legislation was approved, sent back to committee, or rejected.

Files from the years 2002 to 2008 have both physical and digital born records. The digital records may be considered the working copies and the physical records the approved versions. There are minor discrepancies (including but not limited to Senate and Presidential approval dates) between the two types of records. Please contact our office if you wish to view the physical records.

Folders contain documents, communications, and memorandum about the various legislative matters that the Senate considered during the specified time periods. The physical copies located within the archive may contain additional information that was added after the document's creation.

Arrangement:

Arranged chronologically by academic year. When specific dates are listed in the title the latest action date is used (Legislation logs starting at 8485).

Collection of digital records begins with the 2002-2003 academic year, and collection of paper records ends after 2007-2008. For post-2008 digital records, a specific date listed is the last modified date of the file prior to transfer.
