Virginia Welles, Class of 1881, was born in Jersey City, N.J. and resided in Wyalusing, P.A. Welles matriculated at Wells College in 1875, and graduated from Wells College in 1881 with a B.A. cum laude. After her graduation, she was active in the Alumnae Association and Eastern Association. Welles passed away in 1941.
