The Oliver Eline Photo Album contains images of Eline’s time at Fort Bliss during WWII, as well as material from his life after the war.

Biographical / historical:

J. Oliver Eline (1912-2007) served in the United States Army during World War II, from 1941 to 1943. He was stationed at Fort Bliss, Texas in 1941. Following the war, he returned to Elmira, New York where he worked for Remington Rand and Chemung Canal Trust Company.

Acquisition information:
The items in this collection were donated to the Booth Library by William Stowell in 2017.

Restrictions:

The Chemung County Historical Society's research library and archives are open to the public from 1pm to 5pm, Monday through Friday. There is a $5 fee for non-members.
