The Reference Files consist of ready-reference materials, primarily publications and articles, orginally compiled for the Commonwealth Fund Library.

The dates indicated for published material are often the stamped date at which the item was accepted into the Commonwealth Fund Library collection, rather than the date of publication.

Processing information:

Minimal archival processing was conducted by Robert Battaly, Assistant Director, Head of Processing, Rockefeller Archive Center in January 2014 to arrange and describe the material and enable access. Much of the material remains in original folders. Further archival processing, primarily to address the preservation and conservation needs of the records, will be conducted at a later date, as necessary.

Open for research. Brittle or damaged items are available at the discretion of RAC.
