Scope and content:

This collection consists of three boxes of items collected by the March family. One box consists of the families reciepts categorized in alphabetical order. The second box is filled with various booklets involving educational material, information about various academies, and writing books. The third box contains regalia used for teaching purposes and phychological evaluation. These contents document two aspects of family life: domestic economy and education.

Biographical / historical:

The March family lived in Rochester New York at 244 Crossman Terrace from 1930 to 1988. The March family consists of: John March who was a Chiropodist, Thelema March, and their son John March Jr. who became a chemical engineer. Thelma favored shopping at Sibleys as shown by her reciepts.
