Scope and content:

This collection contains four files of different Pullman train car photographs, taken from a photograph album. Some trains highlighted are the St. Tammany Special, which ran from New Orleans to Covington and back in the early 20th century, a Pittsburgh B. Gunnellsville train car, built in 1873, a New York Buffet train car, and the "Train of Tomorrow," built in 1945. Also included in this collection are interior shots of the Pullman Observation Car, which ran from 1908 to 1911, various photographs of locomotive steam generators from 1936, and pictures of a train car lifter in Toledo, Ohio.
