This collection contains professional and personal papers of Ivar Giaever, Nobel Prize co-winner (Giaever shared the prize with Leo Esaki and Brian Josephson). They were awarded the 1973 Nobel Prize in Physics, for discoveries regarding tunneling phenomena in semiconductors and superconductors.
