Scope and content:

The collection consists of a scrapbook and files of letters, newspaper clippings, photographs and ephemera. An additional album of photographs from the parade and welcoming home celebrations was added in 2005.

Biographical / historical:

The letters in this collection describe events in Saratoga Springs and the experiences of men and women in the military during the war with Iraq.

When the soldiers came home, a parade was held and service men were photographed removing their ribbons from the trees where they had been hung.
